What does a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course entail?

There is a required free orientation on 3/4/20 at the Bangor Arts Exchange, 193 Exchange St., Bangor. It is on the third floor-make a right coming off the elevator or a left at the top of the stairs. The class runs from 3/11-4/29 with no class on 4/15.  The class is two hours from 5:30-7:30 pm and there will be a longer, Saturday class on April 18 that is an important part of the experience.

There is also an upcoming silent retreat at Robinson's Cottages in Downeast Maine from 5/1-5/3/20. For more information contact Laura Wiley, ldwpractice@gmail.com or Mary Eyerer at mbsrmaine@gmail.com. Laura is organizing the retreat and Mary is leading the retreat.

The cost of the class is  $250*, which includes materials. Partial scholarships are available upon request and no financial information will be requested.

*Please note that the full cost of course except for the $50 included cost of the materials is refundable up until the second class on 4/18/20.

There is biweekly meditation that is open to everyone at no cost at Brewer Medical Center, 735 Wilson St., Brewer in the conference room next to physical therapy. The next session is 2/4/20 and 2/18/20 from 4:15-5 pm No experience in meditation is necessary. Beginners welcome!
